The Sunnylands Adolescent Mental Health Initiative
The Annenberg Foundation Trust
The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands was established in 2001 by the Annenberg Foundation to advance public understanding of and appreciation for democracy and to address serious issues facing the country and the world.
The Sunnylands Trust created its Adolescent Mental Health Initiative to synthesize and disseminate scientific research on the prevention and treatment of mental disorders in adolescents. In addition to producing Treating and Preventing Adolescent Mental Health Disorders, the Trust supports a website (www.copecaredeal.org) and two book series published by Oxford--one for parents and one for adolescents--on topics including eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, and suicide prevention.
