to view the 2006 results from the national Monitoring the Future Study, which annually surveys nationally representative samples of students in grades 8, 10, and 12 -- some 50,000 in all, located in about 400 secondary schools. This study tracks the substance using habits of American adolescents, including their use of cigarettes, alcohol, steroids, and a wide range of illicit drugs.
The 2006 results are presented in three monographs dated 2007. This information is available on the study's website:

The 2005 results are presented in three monographs dated 2006. Two press releases and a press conference in Washington, DC will disseminate the latest 2006 top line results in mid-December 2006. This information will also be available on the study's website:
